The Returns of All Star Batman...Hopefully

Frank Miller and Jim Lee started work on "All Star Batman & Robin the Boy Wonder" in July of 2005. Thus far they've turned out a whopping five issues, with issue 5 coming out just last Wednesday. So the question is whether this is a problem our not, and I've got to argue that Miller and Lee can do what ever the hell they want. Come on, it's Frank "freakin Dark Knight Returns" Miller and Jim "Freakin Hush" Lee. Collectively they've created some of the best written and drawn Batman comics ever. Why do you think they call it All Star Batman!

So let Frank Miller turn every comic he ever created into a movie, and let Jim Lee do whatever the hell he does over at Wildstorm (maybe one day we will get a WildCats #2 also) and just be happy when you get a copy of "All Star Batman", even if it does takes forever. You have to admit its like the icing on the cake when you look on the shelves and out of nowhere that long awaited issue is waiting for you. Especially, when the cover is as foxy as the Miller variant posted above. Va va va voom Wonder Women!

In other Batman news, the sequel to "Batman Begins" is slated for release in 2008 under the working title "The Dark Knight". Christian Bale will be returning as Batman, with Heath Ledger playing the Joker and Maggie Gyllenhaal replacing Kate Holmes as Rachel Dawes.

Holy Adam West thats a lot of Batman news!
