Second Annual Clowes Update

So there is not much new in the world of Daniel Clowes that I haven't already reported in the last Clowes update. There is still talk of a collaboration between Clowes and director Michel Gondry to make "Master of Space and Time" into a feature film, and there is still no news of a new "Eightball" comic coming
out anytime soon. But what has changed is that my favorite "Eightball" issue "The Death Ray" is being scripted by Clowes now and is suppose to be produced by Jack Black's Black and White Productions.

If you're looking for his artwork though, you are just going to have to settle on his cover art for Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, published through Penguin Classics. Yes, drawing Frankenstein all sweety and neurotic seems oddly fitting nowadays and we can thank Clowes for the updated look.

As always, I'll keep you updated on Clowes if there is any breaking news, but for now if you haven't read Clowes' "David Boring" go read it.
