Ace & Ion Have Landed!

Star Clipper is excited to carry the new Ace & Ion toys designed by renowned painter and illustrator Tara McPherson!!! This set is McPherson’s vinyl toy debut, and includes a raygun, pickaxe and their fuzzy pet dragon on a leash! Former Assistant Manager, Elizabeth divulged the set’s irresistible surprise accessories: a coloring book and puffy stickers! She loves them! And I do, too! And you should, too!

These critters are characters featured in McPherson’s illustrations, and can be seen in such publications as Lonely Heart: The Art of Tara McPherson (Dark Horse Press). As her most recent book, this catalogue features beautiful color reproductions and vellum inserts.

As a former intern at Rough Draft Comics, McPherson worked on Matt Groening’s Futurama series during college. Her current project consists of a painted graphic novel called DONOR, written by Stephen T. Seagle for DC/Vertigo Comics. She has quickly become the art world’s new design darling, by creating limited edition toys and publications for Kidrobot exclusives. Get into it!
