Nick Chimes In
Its fallen on me to start Star Clipper's Blog. I'm not exactly sure what this is all about. I'm not really into blogging personally, nor do i read any blogs on a regular basis. The only thing I really know about blogs is that they don't mix well with business, without lawsuits springing forth. And since my boss, Ben, is a recovering lawyer, I can clearly see that this is just another trap, like the time he let me leave early on a Saturday (I'm still waiting for the harmful side effects)
On the other hand, since our posts will [edited to protect the innocent] a chance I won't get fired for this.
So I guess he wants us to talk about comics, right? Hmm... this was a pretty slow week for new books. Though, one worth noting is Ultimate Extinction #1. Three things everyone should know about it:
1. Warren Ellis is writing the coming of Galactus.
2. That's awesome.
3. His name isn't Galact-i-cus. It wasn't before. It still isn't. Mr Ellis is nice enough to have the Kree sound it out for us..."Gah Lak Tus". So please stop calling him that. (you don't have to call Magneto Mag-neat-o though...that sounds so lame)
