Boy...that was Super!

I went and saw Superman Returns Tuesday night and thought it was terrific. I pretty much agree with everything Dan said in his review, so I won't get too into it except to add that the 'slow' scenes were beautifully done, and I never had the sense that the film needed to pick up the pace. The action scenes were amazing and Singer paid great homage to the original 1970's films that, while perhaps slightly campy, still brought a smile to my face. Singer also gave a nod to the first Action Comics cover - so keep a look out for it (hint, it involves Superman lifting a car). Just go see it, you're going to like it.
